About	Passed away April 18, 2016 from complications due to Parkinson's disease at age 79. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy, and their 7 children Mark (Darlene) Boyle, Sheryl (Rufino) Cordero, Tanya Befus, Seth (Tiffany) Boyle, Nate (Heidi) Boyle, Zara (Chris) Budenbender and Laura (James) Albin and 23 grandchildren. John was born in Wendell, Idaho, but spent the majority of his life in the Sacramento area. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1954 and attended Sac City College, American River College and later Brigham Young University. He was a 40 year employee of Aerojet General working in High Energy Explosives and Solid Rocket Fuels with the last 7 years concentrating on Pharmaceuticals. John was a lifelong member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. At the age of 19 he served in the Swiss-Austrian Mission for 2½years. He served as a ward clerk, Sunday School teacher, Aaronic Priesthood advisor and faithful Home Teacher. His favorite calling was being able to serve in the Oakland and Sacramento Temples as an Ordinance worker. He was helpful in acquiring the Recreational Center from Aerojet, where the Sacramento Temple now stands. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, 3:30PM at the Mormon Center (2100 California Cr., Rancho Cordova).
