June 15, 1943 - March 18, 2016 Bob passed unexpectedly. He will be missed by his family. Born and raised in Sacramento, son of Delbert and Lucille Whorton (both deceased). He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1961. Bob served in the U.S. Army in Ethiopia 1962-65 and retired from McClellan A.F.B. after 25 years of civil service. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Ann Whorton, Delaware, brothers Delbert D. Whorton (Susan) Maple Valley, WA and Jerry Allen Whorton (Tommie Lou), San Diego.
