About	Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. James Anthony Thomas, 72, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, January 11, 2016. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Joy; daughter Shelley; grandchildren Gabriella and Carson; 6 sisters and 1 brother; many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, the son of Albert and Rose Thomas. He graduated from Elk Grove High in 1962 and a lifelong resident of Elk Grove, CA. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11 am from Herberger Family Elk Grove Funeral Chapel 9101 Elk Grove Boulevard Elk Grove, CA 95624.
