Michael graduated from Elk Grove High School, class of 1982, and was a resident of Wilton, California. He is survived by his parents Roy and Esther Acosta; children, Cheyanne Acosta and Ronald Acosta; two grandchildren, Serenity Acosta and Julius Pena, all who live in Wilton, California.
