Jay, as he liked to be called was born in Roseville, California on Thanksgiving day November 26, 1958. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1976. He married and has two beautiful children, Lauren of Redding, and Alexander of Minot Air Force Base in Minot, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his father Payne Scivally, and his sister Charmin Greathouse. He leaves his children Lauren, and Alex. Mother Opal Murphy. Older brother Wayne, and his older sister Linda Beatty, and his younger brother Jeff Murphy, and his best friend Pat McDonald. He leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins, and lots of friends that loved him. We miss you Jay Bug. Services were private and at a later date. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
