About	Patricia May Wells, a former longtime resident of this area, died in Banning, CA on Oct. 26, 2015 at the age of 85. Pat was born Feb. 17, 1930 in Franklin, CA. She attended Franklin Elementary and graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1948. She married Billy Wells (deceased) who had also grown up in Franklin. They settled in Elk Grove to raise their family. When the kids were younger Pat was a neighborhood mom, Girl Scout leader, and very active in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She later went to work as a nurse's aide at the Elk Grove Convalescent Hospital and excelled at caring for others. In her 40's she finished 2nd in her class from the Sacramento City College LVN program. She retired from the EGCH with over 25 years of service. Upon retirement Pat and Bill moved to Banning, CA. Pat is survived by her children and their spouses, Shaun and Patty Wells of Banning, Melissa Brown, Jeffrey and Mike Markov of Elk Grove, Bill and Annette Wells of Sparks, NV and 20 grand/great-grandchildren.
