About	Feb. 3, 1925 - Sept. 21, 2015 Marie passed away peacefully at her home in Sacramento at age 90. Dearly beloved wife of the late Arthur Schmidt for 56 years. Loving mother of Ron Schmidt of Elk Gove and Joan Keck of Sacramento. Beloved mother-in-law of Liz Schmidt and David Keck. Dearly Beloved grandmother of Melissa Lewis (Jeff), Jason Schmidt, Stacy and Brian Keck and 3 great grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Joseph and May Reichmuth, who emigrated from Switzerland. Also survived by her wonderful caregiver and dearest friend Pasepa. A native of San Francisco, 85 year resident of the Sacramento area. After graduation from Elk Grove High School, Marie worked for the State of California for 6 years. She was very proud of her Swiss heritage and was a member of the Sacramento Swiss Ladies Society/Helvetia Verein and Saint Anthony Parish Seniors. At Marie's request services will be private.
