About	April 14, 1939 to April 4, 2015 Jim was born in Modesto, CA, and moved to the Sacramento area as a young child. He attended Earl Warren Elementary School, and graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1958. He worked for Foremost Foods in Sacramento for over 10 years, and then started his own wallpaper-hanging company, Wallcraft, for residential and commercial work. After retiring from the paper-hanging business, Jim worked for Button Transportation as a safety engineer. Jim was a member of the Freemasons, and was a Master Mason for the Sacramento #20 Lodge in 1986. Jim enjoyed hunting, golf, building RC airplanes, and photography. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Myrtle Rogers, his brothers William and Richard, and his son Jimmie Rogers, Jr. Jim is survived by his brother Larry Rogers, his daughters Kim Fisher (Doug) and Tami Cheung (Raymond), 7 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life and disposition of ashes (Jim's request) will be held at a later date for family and close friends. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
