"Bubba" as he was known to his friends, passed away with his family at his side, he was 58. One year after his 1967 EGHS graduation he enlisted in the Navy and served four years on the Nuclear Sub USS Sea Leapold as a gyroscope operator. Honorably discharged in 1972 he worked for the South Bowl Bowling Center for several years as a mechanic, then at St. Clair's Nursing Facility for 24 years as a maintenance man, until his illness. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, and his daughter Dawn from KS and sons Jared and Ryan from Sacramento. He has eight grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.----information from the Sacramento Bee
