About	Published: Wednesday, March 18, 2015 12:11 PM PDT in the Elk Grove Citizen Jack Dale Campbell, a resident of Wilton died March 10, 2015 at the age of 67. He was born April 26, 1947 in Sacramento and grew up in Wilton, attending Dillard Elementary School and graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1965. He then en- listed in the U.S. Air Force in 1966 and served two tours in Vietnam from 1967-1970 as a loadmaster and sergeant. Jack was then stationed at Isleson Air Force Base, Fairbanks, Alaska, and following his discharge moved to Livingood, Alaska where he worked on the pipeline, in gold mines, ran a trap line and also did taxidermy, and was a hunting guide for grizzly bears and moose on the Brooks range. After several years in Alaska, Jack returned to California and married Aliecia Rosa in 1991 and settled in Wilton where he was a member of the Alta Mesa Gun Club. He was also very active at Wilton Christian School where his children attended, serving as the school's trap and archery coach. His family said, “He was a very loving and caring husband and father, and a great mechanic that could fix anything; truly a 'jack of all trades.'” Jack is survived by his wife Aliecia; son Jacob Campbell; daughter Katie LaMora and husband Addam; sisters Joyce Williams and husband Hal, and Lorell Sowell and husband Paul; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Campbell and Bernice Campbell Pfeiffer. Visitation will be Monday, March 16 from noon to 8 p.m. at Herberger's Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. Services follow at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 17 at Wilton Bible Church, Dillard and Colony roads, Wilton. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
