Carl Andrew Fain III passed on January 20, 1978. He was my fiance, and we were to be married the very next day. He was a student at CSUS pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and in March 1978, the acceptance letter from the CHP arrived at his parent's home. He was looking forward to working as a CHP Officer very much. He was a kind, gentle man.
We met at a fraternity party - he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau.
