About	Teresa was born in Florin, California on March 7, 1924 and passed away in Sacramento, California on November 21, 2014 at the age of 90. She was raised in Florin, California, graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1942. In 1944 Teresa married Bob Fletcher and together they managed the farms of 3 families of Japanese descent who were interned for the duration of WWII. After the families returned from internment, Bob and Teresa purchased their own property in Florin and started growing Hay and raising Herford Cattle. During her long lifetime Teresa belonged to several organizations, including the Florin Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary, the Florin Historical Society, the East Contra Costa Historical Society and the Western Fire Chief's Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by their son Robert Fletcher III, three grand-daughters, Jennifer Hauger, Jill Stowers and Sara Cox, and 5 great grandchildren Ashleigh, Kadin, Kaisa, Zoey & Blake. Visitation for Teresa will be held on Friday Nov. 28, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, located at 9189 East Stockton Blvd. in Elk Grove, CA (916) 732-2031. Funeral services will be held at the same location at 10:00 am on Saturday Nov. 29, 2014. Donations in Teresa's memory can be made to the Contra Costa Historical Society, ECCHS, P.O.
