About	Year of graduation Unknown 48? Born on Sept 11, 1930, the 4th of 8 children to Chiyo and Isaburo Tomono. Graduated from Elk Grove High School and worked briefly for the State. During this time she met Henry, they married in 1953 and shared 54 happy years until his death in 2007. After marrying, Barbara retired to start her family and raise their 3 sons. She enjoyed working in her yard, walking, watching TV, word search puzzles and Christmas shopping. Her greatest joys came from taking care of her family and watching her grandchildren participate in sports. Barbara passed away on Aug 19, 2014 and is survived by her children: Dan (Nancy), David (Karen), and Dean (Lena), 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Country Oaks Baptist Church, 9717 Bond Road, Elk Grove at 1pm on Sept 6.
