Elk Grove High School teacher, Dale LeRoy Newbold, of Wilton, CA passed away June 11, 2014. He was born January 17, 1931 to Melvin Ezra Newbold and Virginia Clegg Newbold in Heber City, UT. Dale graduated from South High in SLC, UT, and received a BS degree in 1955 from University of Utah. He married Frances Jackman August 21, 1950. Dale Newbold taught at Elk Grove High School for most of his 35 year teaching career. He is survived by his wife, 7 children, 32 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son. Viewing will be held Jun 17, 2014, 4 - 8 pm at Herberger Family Funeral Chapel 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. Funeral Services held Jun 18, 2014 at 10 am at LDS Church 8925 Vintage Park Dr Sacramento 95829 with a viewing prior to the services at 9 to 9:45 am.
