About	Socorro Corrine 'Cricket' Lagura Kline passed peacefully on the morning of April 18, 2014 at the age of 79, surrounded by the love of her family. She now rejoins her late beloved husband Robert Kline. Survived by her daughter (Andria Justeen Kline), son (Wyatt Vincent Kline) and his wife (Kim), grandchildren (Robert Lawrence and Karlie Rae Kline), brother (Frank Lagura) and his wife (Annette), sisters (Alice Evangelista, Coleen Beinert) and their respective husbands (Jim and John). A California native, Socorro was born in Walnut Grove on March 28, 1935. She graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1953 and became an employee of McClellan AFB immediately after. Throughout her years she worked as an employee of several State of California Departments including: Social welfare (1956-1959). Teacher's Retirement (1959-1961), Employment (1961-1965), Youth Authority (1965-1969), Corrections (1969-1973) and Social Services (1973-1980). Due to a rare bone disease she was retired on Medical Leave in 1981. She married her late husband, Robert Henry Kline on September 1, 1956 and had had two children. Socorro enjoyed her friends on the various golf courses and celebrated the glory of each new day with a smile. She was a volunteer member and past President to the Children's Receiving Home Guild since 1986 (chaired her first Gold Tournament for the Guild in 1994 and 1995), a member of the Widow Persons Assoc. of California and a volunteer at the Sacramento Theater. Her hobbies were golf, archery, bowling, sewing, camping, traveling, movies, music, gardening, and just kicking around the house with her dog. Viewing/Rosary will be held May 8, 2014, 4-7pm at Andrew & Greilich 3939 Fruitridge Rd. Sacramento, CA. 95820. Mass will be held on May 9, 2014 at 10am, St. Peters Church 6210 McMahon Dr. and immediately following, will be the Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery 6700 21st Ave. Sacramento, CA. 95820. Socorro's 'Lifetime Party' will be held at The DD Ranch 10794 Freeman Rd. Wilton, CA 95693.
