About	Daisy Cecil Rose who grew up in Wilton died Dec. 7, 2013 following a battle with cancer. She was at home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Rose was born April 30, 1941 in Pittsburg, Okla. to John and Corene Cecil and grew up in Wilton, graduating from Elk Grove High School. She spent most of her adult life in Hayward and Tracy, working for many years as a florist and for Health Net in the Bay Area. Her family said that she was known as Grandma, Dappa and MeMa to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and as Aunt Daisy to her nieces and nephews. “She was a beautiful person and was loved by everyone who knew her.” Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rose, and her brother, Troy Cecil. Mrs. Rose is survived by her children, Jewelee Rossi of Coronado, Paul Rose (Susan) of Tracy, Sheryl Nagle (Michael) of Dixon and Chuck Rose (Andrea) of Los Banos; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of George Cecil (Marge) of Wilton and Neoma Yount (Don) and Juanita Hinsz all of Elk Grove. Graveside services will take place Saturday, Dec. 28 at noon at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park, 9189 East Stockton Blvd. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way, Suite 115, Sacramento, CA 95815, or to the charity of the donor’s choice. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
