About	Barbara Marie Soares Vanderveen, 78, of Ramona passed away on December 4, 2013 with her beloved Robert at her bedside. She was born July 28, 1935 in Sacramento, California and graduated from Elk Grove Union High School in 1952. She and Robert recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. Barbara is survived by her husband Robert and three children: Susan Vanessa Vanderveen of Ramona, CA Sandra Karleen Sked of Novato, CA, and Bob Vanderveen Jr. also of Ramona CA. She is also survived by her brother, James Soares as well as many nieces, nephews and long-time friends. The Rosary will be recited on Friday evening, December 13th, 6:00 pm, at East Lawn - Andrews and Greilich Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 12:00 noon, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk Grove, with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery off Fruitridge Road in Sacramento.
