Michael A. Faulkner of Elk Grove died Nov. 18, 2013 at the age of 44 following a sudden illness.
He was born Jan. 10, 1969 in San Francisco and lived for a while in southern California before moving with his family to Elk Grove in 1980. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1987 and stayed in touch with several classmates and friends over the years.
His family said, “Mike always had a happy hello. He was extremely generous to any who crossed his path and pure of heart. He enjoyed old movies, game shows and had an extraordinary memory. He loved holidays and singing.”
Mike is survived by his parents, Gene and Jimmie Faulkner; brothers Richard and wife Tina, and David and wife Jane; niece Natasha; nephew Connor; aunts, uncles, cousins and the girl of his dreams Minnie.
Services will take place Saturday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. at Herberger’s Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
