About	Larry Dean Bettis Jr., 54, of Sacramento, CA, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. He was born May 18, 1958 in the Alameda, CA Naval Hospital. Larry grew up in Sacramento and Susanville, CA. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1976 and went on to serve in the military. In 1978 he joined the Army's special forces as a Green Beret in Fort Bragg, NC. Because of his love and respect for the Bible he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in June 1990. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother Janice and brother Merle. He is survived by his wife Amanda; 3 daughters Erin, Kristen and Lauren; father Larry Sr.; brother Jim; sons-in-law Ernie and Manuel; grandsons Isaac, Joseph, and Luke; sister-in-law Staci and nephews David and Dylan. All are welcome to attend the memorial service, held at 7700 Elsie Ave in Sacramento at 2PM on March 30, 2013. Reception to follow at 1322 O Street. _ Information from the Sacramento Bee
