About	VARGAS, Thelma Darlene Vargas Born on May 7, 1949 in Woodlake, CA. God called her home peacefully on Feb. 1, 2013 in Sacramento, CA with her beloved family by her side at age 63. A brain aneurysm was the cause. Darlene is preceded in death by parents William and Leona Davis. A loved mother and grandmother Darlene is survived by husband of 37 years Valentine C. Vargas, her children Anthony and Stephen Vargas, daughter-in-law Marissa Vargas, three grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Adrain, and Alivia Vargas, who brighten her every day, sisters Joyce Capel, Janice Sue Flood, and Betty Young, and numerous friends. Although we only had her a short 63 years here with us she will continue live in are hearts forever. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at St. Roses Church on 5691 Franklin Blvd on Saturday February 9, at 10:00 a.m. If Roses Grow In Heaven If roses grow in Heaven Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mother's arms and tell her they are from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her for awhile.
