About	A celebration of the life of Lecia Bonnie Fuchs who died March 1, 2013 at the age of 52, will take place Saturday, April 13. Her family commented that, “In every aspect of her life, Lecia's love for God was her wellspring. She gave every person that she met the rare opportunity to witness a life spent in dedication to her Creator. “She was an incredibly gifted vocalist - it was her medium of praise to God - and she was an integral lead worshipper in many praise teams and choral groups.” Mrs. Fuchs was born Dec. 7, 1960 in Elk Grove to Gordon and Yvonne Aman and graduated from Elk Grove High School. She earned her bachelor's degree at Point Loma University and in 1984 she met, fell in love with, and married Randy Fuchs. The couple became parents of three sons, and her family described her as “a devoted mother, first and foremost. She spared no expense of time and energy to raise her three boys. Every breath in her life was drawn in service of others, and her family came first.” She performed at many weddings for close friends and family, most recently at the wedding of her oldest son. Mrs. Fuchs is survived by her husband of 28 years, Randy; sons Austin and wife Andrea, Jerod and Trenton all of Aiken, S.C.; parents Gordon and Yvonne Aman of Elk Grove; brother Craig, wife Judi and daughter Hilary of Lodi; and sister Lynn Wagemann and children Amanda, Ian and Alaina of Elk Grove. Services were held in South Carolina. The local celebration of her life on April 13 will begin at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Elk Grove, 8939 East Stockton Blvd. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
