About	A celebration of the life of Barbara Ruth (Wetmore) Taylor who died Feb. 2, 2013 will take place Saturday, March 2. Mrs. Taylor was born Feb. 16, 1930 in San Diego to Del and Wilma Wetmore and grew up in the Elk Grove-Wilton area where she stayed until marrying Charles Taylor. The couple then moved to Sacramento. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother until she became a school bus driver with Sacramento Unified School District in 1970. After three years she became a school bus driver trainer and continued in that position until retirement. Her family said, “We always told Mom she needed to write a book about her years with the kids on the school buses. “Retirement gave her time to enjoy her church family, Bible study groups, camping, fishing and helping others in her community.” For the past 35 years Mrs. Taylor has made her home in Quintette, in the foothills. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles; and her sister Marlene Caudill. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Ruth Magee and husband Tim, Chuck Taylor, and Renee Moon and husband Rick; and grandchildren Jason Magee and wife Nicole, Jennifer Magee-Sumner, Brianne Pinckney and husband Adam, Tawny Belza and husband Joey, and Megan Bauer and husband Jonathan. She was the sister of Carol Fischlin of Elk Grove; and great-grandmother of Jordan, Madden and Dylan Magee, Charley and Savannah Sumner, Mason, Cody and Taylor Pinckney, and Walker, Amaya and Greylen Belza. Saturday’s services begin at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church Parish Hall, 27th and O streets, Sacramento. Private burial took place at Camellia Memorial Lawn, Jackson Road. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
