About	Information from the Elk Grove A memorial service to celebrate the life of Nancy Charlene Angell, a longtime resident of Elk Grove will begin at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday). Mrs. Angell died Jan. 9, 2013 at the age of 73. She was born May 5, 1939 in Porterville to Henry and Frances Warren and grew up in Elk Grove, graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1957. Following graduation she went to work for the Bank of America and later for First Security Bank of Elk Grove (now River City Bank) where she stayed for more than 25 years. In the early ‘60s she was chosen as a princess to Miss Elk Grove during the annual Western Festival. She was a member of the Elk Grove Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary, also its Muster Team. Her family said her three top interests were her family, Hawaii and Disneyland. Mrs. Angell was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Charley Angell; and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Andy Angell and wife Ann, and Chuck Angell and wife Michelle, all of Elk Grove; grandchildren Ashleigh, Andrew, Alex, Adam, Matthew, Emily and Jacob; and sisters Julie Deaver and Sue Roberts, both of Elk Grove. Mrs. Angell was the sister-in-law of Fred Angell and wife Helen, and Becci Angell all of Roseville. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Pastor Patrick Kilmer of Warehouse Ministries of Elk Grove will officiate at today’s services that take place at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 East Stockton Blvd. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen and the Sacramento Bee
