About	Born February 6, 1929 in the Florin community of Sacramento County, California. Passed away December 16, 2012 in Sacramento. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 57 years, son Bruce, daughter Stacy Kunde, grandsons Kash Kunde and Bronson Buljan, brother Mike, numerous cousins, and many good friends. Steve graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1947 and served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from UC Davis in 1991 where he worked as a staff engineer. He also raised cattle on his farm in the Florin area. He was a skilled mechanic who could fix anything. A memorial service will be held at Herberger's Funeral Home at 12 noon on Saturday, December 22, 2012 (9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, CA); followed by a reception at American Slavic Social Club (5328 Gordon Drive, Sacramento). In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation to one of Steve's favorite charities: Loaves and Fishes or 12th Street Mission. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
