About	A Celebration of Life for Sidney Ernest Carter was held on Friday, October 12, 2012, at 1pm, Church of Christ, 6755 San Joaquin, Sacramento, CA 95820. Sidney Ernest Carter, born June 6, 1962 to Sidney Everett Carter and Doris (Meek) Adams, died October 4, 2012, from complications of gall bladder/pancreatitis. Sid was the grandson of V. Ernest and Marie Meek and Sidney and Juanita Carter. Sid (Sonny) was born in Sacramento and spent most of his life in the greater Sacramento/Wilton areas, attending and graduating from Elk Grove schools and Wilton Christian School. He was known for his ready smile, sense of humor and eagerness to help. He was partial to the senior community and lent a helping hand to many senior citizens, including caring for his grandmother Carter in her declining years. Sid leaves behind to mourn him: his parents, Sid Carter, Doris Adams, stepdad, Gary Adams, brother, David Carter (Pam), sister, Noni Carter, aunt, Ernestine Bolduc (Ray), cousin, Gene McAneny, uncle, Raymond Carter (Glenda), Arem and Logan Merriweather, step-sister, Tami Pollinger and step-brother, Randy Adams, numerous nieces and nephews and grandniece Jade Carter. Also leaves his beloved dogs Whitey and Tootsie Pop. Sid's family knows that he has joined his beloved grandparents, family and friends that have gone on to be with God before him.
