Born August 3, 1938, passed away September 15, 2012. Wife of John Platt, she is survived by her sons, Gordon (Julie), Jeff (Karen) and David (Pamela), grandchildren: LeeAnna, Sara (Steven), Carisse, Erin, Bethany, Benjamin, and Logan, and great-grandson, DeForrest. Ann worked for Elk Grove Unified School District for 27 years as an educator and counselor to many. Ann was very proud of her work with John in orchestrating a parent-teacher education center in Elk Grove over a 22-year span. Another passion of hers was volunteering and supporting The Moral Values Program and Sierra Adoption. Although Ann suffered from Alzheimer's over the past 10 years, those that knew her will remember her kind heart and support for the underdog. Memorial services will be private.
