About	Allen (58) was born April 8, 1954 in Hammond, Indiana to Margaret and Albert Kowalczyk and came to Elk Grove with his family at the age of 8, graduating from EGHS in 1972. He was a cement mason who enjoyed fishing and camping with his grandsons. For the last three years he lived in Eureka to be near his daughter and family. She has sinced moved back to Elk Grove. He was preceded in death by his father, Abert Kowalczyk. Allen is survived by his daughter Tiffany Cotten; stepson Tony Kowalczyk; grandchildren Sean and Zachary Cotton; step-grandchildren Kevin, Nick, and Elizabeth Kowlaczyk; and his mother Margaret Kowalcztk all of Elk Grove. He was brother of David Kowlaczyk of Elk Grove, Janet Rau of Wilton and Ellen Trujillo of Grants Pass, Oregon. A celebration of his life was celebrated on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm at the Elk Grove Senior Center, 8830 Sharkey Avenue, Elk Grove, California. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen.
