About	Michael Louis (Mike) Blue suffered a fatal heart attack at home in Wilton on April 5, 2012. He was 45. Mr. Blue was born Aug. 15, 1946 in French Camp to Gladys Taylor-Blue and William Blue. He grew up in the Elk Grove and Wilton areas, graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1964. During his school year he enjoyed building and racing cars. His family said that Mike was a proud Miwok Indian man. He raised his children and lived his life hunting and fishing to feed his family and elders in his community that could no longer hunt and fish for themselves. "There was always music and laughter when Mike was around. Regardless of the situation, he had a comical remark.....If you got the chance to meet Mike Blue, you met a man of principle, honor and integrity," they said. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Merle Blue. Mr. Blue is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debra of Wilton; sons David (Angel) and Dennis Blue, and daughters Danielle (Justin) and Denise (Jay) all of Wilton; and grandchildren Michael King-Blue of Sacramento, Anastasia Tran of Humboldt State University, Donald Blue of Elk Grove and Desiree Blue of Galt. He was the brother of Billie Blue of Galt and Linda Blue and Johnny Blue, both of Sacramento. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hicksville Cemetery near Galt, on Arno Road. A luncheon followed at Estrellita Ballroom, 415 C Street, Galt, California, hosted by Thunder Valley Casino - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen and Sacramento Bee.
