About	Graduation year unknown? (1991?) Lonnie Bates, a former resident of Elk Grove died March 8, 2012 in Oklahoma where he was working for an oil company. Mr. Bates was born July 22, 1973 in Coalinga and grew up in Elk Grove, graduating from Elk Grove High School. He was preceded in death by his father William Bates and his grandfather Rahley Bates. Mr. Bates is survived by his sons, Billy and Bradlee of Oklahoma; his mother Deb Bates of Galt; brother BJ of Galt; sister Robin of Indiana; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
