About	Patrick was a long time resident of Elk Grove who passed away peacefully in Roseville at the age 70. He was born March 17, 1941 in San Francisco and grew up in Elk Grove, graduating from Elk Grove High School. He then served two years in the U. S. Army and recieved his discharge in 1960 as Private 1st Class. He was a mechanic and over the last year he built many models of all the vehicles and tanks that he worked on or rode in during his service. He was a salesman, and his daughter said he could sell anything from oats to cars to tools. He worked with service dogs for many years and often visited Shriners Hospital to cheer up patients with his dog and smile. In 1993 he captured a wheelchair tennis champion title. He is survived by his daughters Penny Stone of Salada and her children, Danny, Travis, Trisha, and Tyler, Wendy Vick of Placerville and children Scott, Kate, and Buchanan, and Cathy Roth and her children, Anthony, Ciara, and Jason, also of Placerville. He also leaves behind brothers Gary and Mike (Caroline), sister-in-law Bev all of Sacramento and former wives Carol and Rorie. He was preceded in death by his brother Ken. A memorial service was held on Friday, March 9 at 4:00 pm at Herberger's Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, California with a reception to follow.
