About	Susie, a long time resident of Elk Grove lost her three year battle with cancer. Sue was born on August 14, 1950 grew up in Elk Grove and graduated from EGHS in 1968. She had a career in banking, working for First Security Bank of Elk Grove and Farmers and Merchants Bank. She was the daughter of John and Bev Watertman, and her family described her as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. "And an avid garage sales person," said sister Marsha Metzler. "You could find her almost any weekend checking out the garage sales." Susie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dennis, and daughter Lindsey of the Elk Grove area; sisters Marsha Metzler of Rancho Murieta, Renee Pinkham of Sacramento and Johnette Branstetter of Elk Grove; brother Greg Waterman of Wilton; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 1, at 11:00am at Herbergers Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, California.
