About	Irene of Sacramento, a long time resident of Elk Grove passed away at a local hospital at the age of 81. She was born in South dakota and moved to Elk Grove, when she was 5 years old. She attended Elk Grove High School, she married Joe Sellers in 1947. Irene's grandchildren were her life, she attended every event they participated in. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, 2 sons, Bill and his wife Mary of Sacramento and Rick and his wife Francine of Sacramento, 2 brothers, Oscar Hottman and Kenneth Hottman. Also survived by 8 grandchildren: Traca, Billy, Latecia, Brian, Amber, Nichole, Brandi, and Ricky and 6 great-grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Billy, Michael, Aiden, and Vincent. Irene was preceded in death by a son, Randy and a brother Arnold Hottman. She enjoyed life, camping, fishing, racing, and spending time with family. Friends were invited to call at Herberger's Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101, Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, Ca. (916) 686-1888 on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00pm and attend services Friday, December 9 at 2:00pm also at the mortuary.
