About	Born on September 8,1936 in La Habra, California to Otis and Bobbie Murray and grew up in the small town of Florin, California. After graduating from Elk Grove High School he went into the U. S. Navy. Not long after his return he got married and made his home in Wilton, California. For the next 30 years he worked in construction. He moved to Colorado in 1994 and loved it. In 2006 he moved back to be close to his family. He passed away in his daughter's home after a long battle with cancer and some other complications. During the ordeal he never lost his sense of humor and was always fun to be around. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Murray and Wendy Fordham; son-in-law Jon Fordham; Grandchildren Sara Murray (Shackleford), Nick Fordham, (Rachael Brennan), and Clint, Eli, and Aaron Fordham; great-grandchildren Sabrina Grayce Murray and Brenna Fordham: Former wife and friend Toots (Floy) Murray; sister Del Bennett (Murray) and half-sister Teen Alexander. Also, his adopted family and best friends Roy and Mavis Cowan and Steve Whitmire.
