About	Year of graduation unknown - '95? Andy, 22, was born on October 13, 1977 and was a life-long resident of Wilton. He died in an auto accident in the Wilton area. He was an avid baseball player at Elk Grove High School and Yuba College. Cherished son of Jack and Evie Walker; brother of Chuck, Mike, Marty, Steve, Chris, Danny, and Kelly; Grandson of Ruth Walker. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and friends. Visitation was on Tuesday, June 13, 2000 from 5-8:00pmith a Rosary at 7pm at South East Lawn Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, California. A funeral mass was held Wednesday, June 14, 2000 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 9961 Elk Grove - Florin Road, Elk Grove. Graveside service followed. - Information from the Sacramento Bee. The memorial service flyer read: "Thank you dear friends and family for coming to share in the celebration of Andy's life. Andy was a grandson to Ruth; a son the Jack and Evie; brother to Chuck, Mike, Marty, Steve, Chris, Danny, and Kelly; An uncle. a baseball player, a singer, a friend, and a cherished child of God. Andy had a great love of life. His heart's desire was baseball and he felt most confident when on the pitchers mound. Andy loved to sing and he had a beautiful voice. Andy considered his family to be his greatest treasure and he loved them dearly. Andy was a wonderful companion and life was always full of friends; some new and some he'd had since childhood. Andy will be missed terribly, but we know he is looking down from Heaven and loving his family and friends." The article in the Sacramento Bee, June 12, 2000 read: Two men die in high-speed Wilton crash Two Sacramento County men were killed early Sunday morning when their 1997 Mazda crashed after veering out of control on Green Road in the Wilton area, the California Highway Patrol said. The victims were identified as Andy Walker, 22 of Wilton, the driver, and Scott Cranford, 21. of Elk Grove. CHP Officer Dan Cameron said the Mazada was traveling east at a "high rate of speed" on Green Road, just east of Randolph Road when Walker apparently overcorrected as the cas slipped off the right edge of the pavement. The car then crossed both lanes and veered off the left side of the road and overturning before smashing into a powerr pole and an oak tree. It came to rest on its roof, with Walker parially ejected. He was not wearing a seat belt, but Cranford was, the CHP said. The air bags were deployed. The crash was reported at 2:42 am.
