About	Bob a former and long time resident of Elk Grove, now living in Galt, passed on at the age of 69. Bob was born in Peidmont on Friday, May 6, 1927 and came to Elk Grove as a small child. He grew up here, graduated from local schools. married, and owned a business, Elk Grove Gas Company, for many years. Twenty years ago the family moved to Galt where he owned Galt Gas Company, and more recently, Galt Builders Supply. He enjoyed fishing as a hobby. Bob was the husband of Peggy of Galt; and the father of Brent of Trinity, California, Carrie of Montana, Marty of Galt, Sullivan of Hearld, Nancy Stetson of Lodi and Laurie Cargill of Sly Park. He is survived by his sister Betty Traina of Sacramento; and his grandchildren, Ian, Sadie, and Tallon Cargill and Tanteen Stetson. A Mass of Christian burial was held September 27, 1996 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk Grove. Rememberances may be made to the Easter Seal Society, 3205 Hurley Way, Sacramento, California 95864 or Hospice of San Joaquin, 2609 E. Hammer Lane, Stockton, California 95210.
