About	Neil died in his freshman year (May 1998) at EGHS at the age 15. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on January 6, 1983 to loving parents Patrick and Maria Laughlin. He was brother to Monica Laughlin, grandson to Olga Avila and the late Juan P. Avila and John P. and Jean McLaughlin. Survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins as well as inumerable friends. He was an avid hockey player, fisherman, and hunter. He enjoyed his dogs, models, and all sports. Neil was a giving person and will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Recitation of the Rosary took place on Wednesday, May 6, 1998 at 7:30 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 9961 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove, California. Mass of the Resurection was Thursday, May 7, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
