About	EGHS Graduation year unknown (37-38?) at Courtland HS Faye, a former resident of Elk Grove died at the age of 90. She was born on December 31, 1919 and attended Elk Grove Grammer School and Elk Grove High School, later transfering to Coutland High School. She attended one year at Sacramento Junior College, now known as Sacramento City College. Following World War II she worked in the secretarial pool in Govenor Earl Warren's office and later transfered to the Department of Employment. Faye was very fond of dogs, and for 16 years she helped 4-H boys and girls raising Guide Dogs puppies with their basic obedience training. She also showed Great Danes in obedience classes for many years. She was a member of PEO and the Sacramento Mounted Patrol. In 1978 she married Adam Feickert of Elk Grove. He was very active in the Heifer Project International, and 1981 they flew to Eygpt with a shipment of cattle, sheep, and goats. He preceded her in death as did her brother Ray Hogaboom. Faye moved to Cottonwood Estates in 1987 where she was very active with the monthly News and Views, sent get-well cards, took pictures for the clubhouse albums, and took part in making lap robes for those in the health care center. She is survived by Hogaboom and Chalmers family members. At her request, ther are no services planned. - Information from the Sacramento Bee.
