About	EGHS Graduation year unknown (39?) Victoria, a 70 year resident of Wilton, has died at the age of 87. She was born in 1921 in Superior, Wisconsin and came to Elk Grove in 1929, growing up here and graduating from Elk Grove High School. She then attended Heald's Business College and worked for Golden State Creamery, a local wineries, and dedicated secretary to Elk Grove Law Office. Victoria was very active in community affairs and served as secretary for the Colony Ladies Aid Society for many years. She was researching on ways to have the Alta Mesa Farm Center declared a historical building when it burned down. Her daughter said her mother loved animals, and would adopt any stray that came by the ranch. Those included a deer and fox she said. Victoria and her hardworking and tireless husband, Herman D. Strumer, owned and operated the Donald Lynn Jerseys Dairy in Wilton for many years. He preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Aus and husband Steve, and son Donald Strumer all of Wilton; grandson Herman Petree, granddaughter Ciara Stull and great-granddaughter Faith Ann Petree all of Sacramento. . Visitation was held on August 10 from 4:00-8:00pm and August 11 from 10:00am-8:00pm. A celebration of Victoria's life was held on Wednesday, August 12 at 2:00pm. Both visitation and service were at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, California. After services, a gathering will be held at Vince's Restaurant. 8901 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove, California (916) 685-2161.
