About	Edna, a former resident of Elk Grove, died shortly before her 94th birthday. She was born on September 23, 1915 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and came to the Elk Grove area as a small child with her family. She grew up on a dairy farm here, and graduated from Elk Grove High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Reinhold Paul Derheim; her brother Gilbert Neher; and sister Mable Veninga. Mrs. Derheim is survived by her son Bob Derheim and wife Donna of The Woodlands, Texas; daughter Linda Kreutzer and husband Phil of Folsom, California; brother Walt Neher of Elk Grove; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at noon at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park, 9189 East Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, California. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen.
