About	Peggy was born in Stockton, raised in Elk Grove, but died in Healdsburg, California at the age of 70. She was born on June 11, 1939 to John and Esther Scherman and grew up here, graduating from EGHS. She attended Sacramento State College where she majored in drama and worked for Philco Ford as a secretary and later as accounts clerk for Sonoma Country. Her interests stayed with the arts and she worked with plays and costuming as well as play writing and photography. She also served a two year mission to Germany with the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her siblings, Larry Scherman and Michael Scherman both of Sacramento, Leland Scherman of Elk Grove, and Sandra Scherman of New Mexico.
