About	Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer and dementia. Born February 28, 1926 in Florin, California and upon graduation from EGHS married Pete Barbera. They spent the next 61 years together until Pete's passing 2006. Next to raising her family, Gloria's passions were for bowling, traveling, and volunteering her time at Sacramento Children's Home. Gloria is survived by her children, Patti and Kim and three grandchildren, Rob, Michelle, and Annie. The family would like to Thank the Eskaton Care Center's nurses and staff who provided all the TLC that made Gloria's final days comfortable. Family and friends were invited to funeral services on Thursday, march 31, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the afternoon at Harry A. Nauman & Sons, Land Park Funeral Chapel, 3041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento. In Lieu of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to make a donation to breast cancer or Alzheimer's research. Mom/Grandma we love and miss you.
