About	In an automobile accident at the end of her junior year. She was 17 years old. The car she was riding in hit a pole on a frontage road adjacent to highway 99 at Grantline Road. They believe the car was on the freeway, lost control, traveled through a cyclone fence and hit the pole. Also died were sailors Jackson Workman Jr. (19) from Las vegas, NV and William Charbonneau (19) of Superior, Wisconsin both assigned to the USS Coral Sea. A third sailor James Scott (19) was taken to Mather Air Force Base Hospital and another girl Eva Hironymous was taken to Sacramento Hospital, Both are in critical condition, were thrown in to the nearby field. One half of the car remained at the pole, the other half was hurdled in to the field. - Information from the Sacramento Union Born April 5, 1947 (17) - (Sophomore photo from 1963) - Died in an auto accident in her junior year. Her classmate and friend, Eva Hironymous survived and still uses a wheelchair. It is unknown what happened to the two sailors that were with them. - Information from G. Kepley
