About	A Great Man Has Left This World - Born August 7, 1938 in Sacramento, California, a 4th generation native of Elk Grove. His departhure was too early for this wonderful man, who is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne; sons Jeff and Mark; grandchildren Caity, Jeff II, Mary, Bruce, and Blayne: and great-grandchildren Ayla, and Sydney: and siblings Stan, Alene, and Don. Remembered by his family for his love and warmth, perfectionism, and wisdom. Known by all who met him for his big smile, generosity, hard work, and unwaverung integrity. There was not a person that ever met Wayne Hansen who did not imediately see his good heart and kindness. He dedicated his life to teaching his children and grandchildren a strong work ethic, fairness, honesty, and common sense. After graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1956, he gave 38 years of his life to Park Mechanical, where he served many years as Superintendent. After retiring, he enjoyed time on the golf course, traveling wirh great friends, and spending quality time with his family. Services to celebrate hid great life were held on Saturday, March 5 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Herberger'a Elk Grove Funeral Home in Old Elk Grove at 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, California 95624. - Information from the Sacram,ento Bee and the Elk Grove Citizen.
