About	Funeral services were held, Friday, November 19 for long time resident of the Elk Grove area, Yzalia Brooks. Mrs. Brooks was born September 19, 1925 in Wilton to Fred and Mary Dubach and attended Dillard Elementary School. Shortly after graduating from EGHS in 1944 she married Troy D. Brooks. They settled in Galt where they ran the family dairy and later were involved in cattle ranching. She was a member of the Galt Bible Church, Herald Riders and Birthday Club. She especially enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, and being with family and friends. Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband Troy, sister Hilda and brothers Fred and Ernest Dubach. She is survived by her daughter Sherann Erman and husband Bob, and son Lon Brooks and wife Mary all of Galt; grandchildren Troy Brooks and wife Tracey of Bly, Oregon, Deanna Sommer and husband Derek of Galt, Katie Hearne and husband Tom of King City, and Matt Erman and wife Amy of Acampo; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Services began at 10:30 am at the Galt Bible Church, 801 Church Street. Private committal was in the Galt Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Ben Salas Funeral Home in Galt.
