Amy was born on August 12, 1924 and went to Florin Grammar School and Elk Grove High School. She was interned at Tule Lake Concentration Camp during the war years with her parents Frank and Dorothy Sekiguchi, sisters Lucille and Mitzi. After the war she worked for the State of California. Upon retiring she helped out at the office of the blind Braille group. She leaves a sister Lucille Kumimoto and husband Ken of Turlock, niece Ellen Kumimoto of Carmichael, nephew Bryan Kumimoto and family of Turlock, Wayne Kumimoto and family of Fremont. There was a private burial service at East Lawn Memorial Park on Folsom Blvd. by Andrew Grehilich Funeral Home. - Information from the Sacremento Bee, April 24, 2010
