About Born January 20, 1931 and died at 79 years old. He left behind his wife, Carol H. Constantine-Bandaccari of 51 plus years of marriage; his children, Lawrence (Larry Jr.), Barbara, Frank and Theresa; his grandchildren, Crystal Dopp, Kyle and Ryan Bandaccari. He was the eldest child of Plina Amanti and Alisseo Bruno Bandaccari; beloved brother to Angelena McAnally and cousin to Ugo Amanti and numerous family members in the U.S.and Italy he didn't know. He graduated from Florin Elementary and Elk Grove High School and was part of the Championship Baseball team of 1950. He was called to service for his country in the Korean Conflict but never saw combat. He met and married his wife, Carol, shortly after coming home in May of 1958. He worked at McClellan A.F.B. as a computer operator for 20 years. He was put on disability in the early 1970's, but he coached little league when his sons were young. He and Carol celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary discovering the inside passage in Alaska. He traveled to Yellowstone National Park in the fires of 1988 and wanted to go through the Panama Canal but never did. He and Carol settled for short trips to the foothills, Lake Tahoe, and the coast in the late 80's until the present. His favorite memory was sharing a taxi with then Senator Lyndon B. Johnson while coming home from his time in the servic. He was a big admirer of John F. Kennedy. A mass for him was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and entombment was at St. Mary's Cemetery. - The Sacramento Bee, January 31, 2010
