About	Robert Andrew "Bob" Yarnell, 64, passed away on August 2, 2022, in Sacramento, California, following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born on May 12, 1958, in Anaheim, California, Bob was the 2nd son of Marie Rietkerk and Donald Yarnell. He was a bright and creative boy, growing up with his siblings, Arthur (Art) and Karen. Adult Bob was tall, lanky and strong (with a striking, classical nose). After college and serving in the Navy, Bob dedicated his professional life to construction engineering, devoting his skill and passion to major structural projects. Among his notable career achievements was as a member of the team that built The Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. His dedication to his craft remained steadfast, and even after undergoing surgery for Parkinson's disease, he was eager to return to the job sites he loved. Bob was survived by his devoted companion and caregiver, his beloved MaryAnne; his brother Art Yarnell and family, sister Karen Taylor and family, cousins, including Patti Nelson and Jeanne Bliss, and by his first wife Carla Hoerwartner. Bob had no children. Bob will be fondly remembered for his many attributes, including his wit, work ethic, and sharp spirit. He is interred at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. 9-16-26 Bob’s cousin Patricia Nelson shared with Roberta Rust Watson via Ancestry Robert was a 1976 Mid Term Graduate of Elk Grove High School
