Kathleen Leslie Hrepich born September 23, 1946 and entered Eternal Rest April 8, 2026. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Born in Sacramento to Paul and Dorothy Hrepich and raised in Elk Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Soto and parents. She is survived by her siblings Diane, Cindy, Vince (Debbie) and Angela (Chuck). Her children Nicola (Bryce), Kerstin, Michael (Jackie), and Justin Robbins; her stepchildren James, Jerry, and Justin (Jennifer) Soto and 17 grandchildren. Kathy loved the ocean, the trailer her and Joe had at Dillions beach, gardening, sewing, baking, playing piano and playing keyboard in her band. She was a graduate of Lincoln Law School and received a Juris Doctorate. She loved practicing law - in her private practice, as a Deputy Da, Deputy Director of Child Support Services, CDAA and when appointed Deputy Director and Chief Council of DCSS. Friends and Family are invited to the vigil and visitation (with rosary at 6pm) Friday, May 8, 2026 from 5-8pm. The funeral mass Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 2pm. All services will be held at St.Mary's Chapel and Cemetery located at 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, Ca 95820. Though she is gone, the memory of Kathleen Hrepich will long linger in sad but grateful hearts. - Information from the Sacramrnto Bee

Kathy was an attorney and retired as Chief Council of the State of California Child Support Services in Sacramento (Her office was in Rancho Cordova). She was married to Joe Soto who recently passed. She lives part time in Sacramento and they own a home in Grass Valley.
