Greg was born to Harry and Delores Bain. He was a longtime resident of Roseville who built a life grounded in dedication and quiet strength.
Greg devoted over fifty years to the electrical trade as a proud second-generation member of IBEW Local 340.He is survived by his wife Janet Bain; his children, Matthew, Michael, David, and Sarah bain; his grandchildren Marcus, Marissa, Hudson, Holly, Benjamin, and Levi. His presence and quiet wit continue to live on through them.
Greg's life was enriched by a variety of passions. In his younger years, he excelled in sports including baseball, softball bowling, and golf. Later inn life embraced fantasy football with strategic enthusiasm. He also found joy in gardening and took great pride in nurturing his plants. A fan of horse racing, he relished the excitement of the track and the occasional win that brought a gleam in his eye.
Greg's legacy is one of commitment to his craft, to his family, and to living with a purp[ose. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. - Information from the Sacramento Bee

John Lemieux '72 said:
I grew up across from Greg until 4th grade. I learned alot about baseball from Greg. Our trips to Lake Tahoe with with our parents were great and our hunting trips were unforgettable. He will be missed, he was my best friend until we moved in 1963.
