Sadly, Our Beloved, Marta Kachadorian, 74 of Elk grove CA, passed away on January 4, 2025, at home with her family. Marta was born on February 2nd,1950 to Vahan and Jamie Kachadorian in Sacramento California. Marta will be lovingly remembered by her beloved daughter Amber, Son-in-law Billy, Grandson Nolan, Sisters Jamie & Karla, Brothers Bill and Vahan. In addition, her memory will be cherished by her nephews Jerry, Frank, Erik, Marco, Stephen, Guy, and Wade. Her Nieces, Alana and Lyndy, as well as many great-nephews, great-nieces, and countless friends.
Marta was full of life with a big personality in a small package. She was strong, spunky, and Loved her life and lived life to the fullest. She loved her lifelong career working with Children and Adults with Developmental Disabilities, starting at Jessie Baker in 1979 then moving on to Elk grove adult community training (EGACT) in 1981. She held many positions, From Teacher to Program Director, and retired in February 2020 at the age of 70.
Her Greatest joy was being a mom and Grandma, as well as spending time with her family and friends. Marta’s loss is deeply felt by her immense Family and all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
A Celebration of life will be held January 25,2025 from 1pm to 7pm at Van Steyn Ranch 11176 Ed Rau Road Elk Grove, CA. 95757. A short service will be given by Nephew Jerry Braxmeyer starting at 2:30pm.
